LOVE...
Such a small word, only four letters..it has many meanings.
We need to declare our love carefully, with a guarded heart, to the one
you do truly love.
Sure, there are different types of love, the love we have for God, the love we have for our
spouse, our children, extended family, and even our friends.
On this St. Valentine's Day, we need to remember that this small word is very powerful.
I feel this is the best way to look at love through the following verse:
Love is patient, love is kind. It
does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it
is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of
wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It
always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love
never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where
there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it
will pass away.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world,that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
